You're younger than my brother, too. Ah, 1975. I started graduate school that year at the University of Toronto. My tuition was -- are you ready? -- $600 for the year, and my $500 scholarship from U. of M. covered most of that. I paid $75 a month for a room in Toronto (a ticket to some concerts costs more than that now), and when I got a T.A. post it paid enough to live on for eight months. Clearly that was another time. My daughter's tuition for the last three years exceeded $30,000. How deep in debt are you? And will there be a job? I found myself out of the teaching profession (because I didn't like it) by 1983, and I have done nothing but write sonnets since then. Will you make movies? And whose movies will they be like? I'm especially partial to the French: Truffault, Renoir, Godard, Chabrol, Rohmer.
I already said happy birthday so I refuse to say it again.... especially weeks after the fact... BUUUUUUT can you please tell me what you're doing with your life now? Aka: No Booth or Yes Booth?

Happy birthday indeed! 32's a good number.
I've said it before, but it bears repeating.
