And what becomes of you, my love?

All right. The game is called 'Desert Island.' You have to give me your top 5, must-have-if-I-were-stranded-on-a-desert-island of the following:
1) Books
2) DVDS (accepting for the sake of the game that this desert island has electricity and is Projector-DVD ready)*
3) Albums

*I've checked with the judges and "Seasons of tv on DVD" will be accepted for DVD answers, however one season equals one choice.

Ready?

GO!

Alrighty, I’m ringing in.
Allow me to first express how incredibly difficult I find these questions. Barring the usual survivor guides and boat building for dummies, which five Hardy Boys books do I pick? It’s so hard to choose! (heh heh)

Books:
The Bible (not cuz I’m sanctimonious, but because it’d be excellent to read over and over.)
LotR (Tolkien)
East of Eden (Steinbeck)
Rebecca (by Daphne DuMaurier)
The Agony and the Ecstasy (Irving Stone)

Honestly, I’d much rather bring 10 more books and just forget the music/movies. But I’ll humour you.

DVD’s:
Pride and Prejudice (the good version – all 5 hrs. ie. Kiera could die a painful death and would not be missed…)
The Great Escape
When Harry Met Sally
The Scarlett Pimpernel (the non-Dr. Quinn version)
The 10 Commandments (how can Yule and Charlton ever be wrong??)

Tunes:
Les Miserables
Vivaldi’s Four Seasons
The Red Violin
Josh Ritter – Bright Eyes
Jars of Clay – can’t pick between ‘Who We Are Instead’ and ‘Redemption Songs’….probably the former…oh indecisiveness.
