It's snowing here in Manitoba: a lot. In fact, just outside my window resembles the inside of a snow globe (if anyone would bother making a snowglobe with the Adult Education building in it). The snow was supposed to dissipate by the afternoon, which suited me fine. I have to drive out to Otterburne tomorrow for class. If the snow ended by the afternoon that would give road crews plenty of time to plough major routes. I'm starting to worry that the roads will be horrendous tomorrow and that I will die in a horrible car accident.
And that would suck.

Yes, indeed, Mike that WOULD suck. I'd miss you terribly if you died.
Thank you, Mike. I'd miss you too.
I'd miss you more
but the fire is so delightful...
oh man, this would be great weather to sit by a fire with hot chocolate. it makes one feel almost...festive?
less good to actually be on the road though.
just cancel your class!! the snow won't stop until tomorrow morning so said cjob. i kind of like it!! it will be fun to just sit around and have a relaxing evening in a warm house with kimberly whilst it snow outside. that, and it's going to be a hardcore 5 mile run tomorrow morning!!
boots are a marvelous thing. I haven't had boots that came up to my knees since I was a kid. I never realized the agony they save of wet socks, pant legs, soggy shoes.
I pranced all over the place today in my boots.
That's why I moved away from Winnipeg, people. It's a balmy eleven degrees here in Hogtown. That being said, I don't know you, and already I'd miss you. And for all my boasting about being away, I'll end up visiting Winnipeg in February -- the perfect time, no? Who could keep away from Lord Selkirk's little half-acre having once seen it -- nay, having lived in the bosom of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers?
I would miss you Mike. Just like I miss you when you leave early on Sunday nights...oh right, we're back to insulting now...I would miss your smell...which is poo smell
Today I was wondering if I had stomach cancer, can I get some missage over here, too? Haha.
Boots are good... an hour shovelling is so much easier to bear when your feet aren't numb...
ALL INVITED...
here's the scoop. bible study, this friday, at the church, at 7pm, on Romans 3:21-4:25. come ready, prepared, and rockin'. also bring some drinky, snacky snacks. oh, and for all of you who would like to, and you know i'm down for anything...
IMPORTANT NEWS BULLETIN:
(a potential thing to do after Bible study)
December 1st is World AIDS Day, and this year, students at the University of Winnipeg are putting on a dry social to raise both funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS. I would love it very much if you could make it to this event. All money raised is going to an HIV/AIDS charity, and you're going to have a great time helping out a good cause and hearing some great bands while you're there!
Here are the details:
Friday, Dec 1, from 8pm-12am
University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre, 2nd floor lounge
Tickets are $10: this price is for everyone! It does not matter if you are a student, a grandma, or 8 years old! Everyone is invited, and for only $10 (which goes to HIV/AIDS charity). Tickets are available through me, through the infobooth at the U of W (main floor, near bookstore) or at the door.
We have the bands A Place Tomorrow, Elyon and (were working on) WHY. It promises to be an evening of great tunes!
