Today was a marginally productive day. I went to Booth in the late morning to work. It would have been much better if I had remembered to eat something. About 3 o'clock I was famished to point of not being able to concentrate. Couldn't find a vending machine for the life of me, so I went home. After eating and napping (for three hours), I couldn't really get back in the groove. Still, I got some good work done when I was at school.
I know I have to start eating better. I can't let myself get sick. No time. My sleep patterns are already all screwed up, and if I continue to skip meals they'll get screwed up even worse. When I don't eat, I need naps. Lots of naps. And as enjoyable as sleeping is (that's where I'm a Viking), I need to be working and writing.
My Ipod Nano is my new best friend. It loves me and I love it*.
*I thought about making it female, but I already have people thinking I'm creepy so it shall remain genderless).

Naps are so awesome. So, so, SO awesome. Was it a wonderfully-wonderful nap?
Absolutely it was wonderfully-wonderful.
I officially think you are great... I am no longer sad. thank you. and...uh also hello back.
Thank you. I AM pretty great.
It’s true Mike, you ARE great.
Jonathan and I were remarking last night about how we’re starting to see the light at the end of the no-Mike tunnel...you actually considered hanging out with us. It’s “one small step for...” etc. I believe the exact words were ‘YES!! We’re wearing him down!!!”
You should consider carrying something like a bag of nuts, trail mix or similar healthy energy-filled substance, around with you as backup for those situations.
Mike...it's still creepy. Yes, nuts and energy bars my friend, that's where it's at. Those have saved me from many-a-grumbly-tummy
Hi, my name is Dave. I've only been reading Mike's blog for approximately 47 seconds but whenever I see this "Roz" lady post it's ALWAYS about how creepy Mike is. I'm just curious if there was some kind of incident that involved Mike accidentley walking in somewhere he shouldn't have or something of that nature. I mean, what else could have brought on this kind of pure hate?
With all my love,
Davideen L. Brizzle
p.s: i replaced "chick" with "lady" because I have this overwhelming feeling that there are some feminists around...
ha. all i read was the "ps" in dave's comment. so far. but NOW i have to read everything so that i have a stance for arguing. Oh, hahaha. I'm so funny.
oh, dave dude, i usually use chick when referring to chicks. see? you're not alone. you're not bad. dudes and chicks. it works. :)
Yea, my mom raised me to believe calling girls "chicks" was hip. However, I still vividly remember the time I was at the swimming pool and the receptionist heard me call some random a "chick" and went crazy: "What? What did you just say? Did you just say what I think you said?!?" That memory is always in the back of my mind whenever I say it.
Oh the things I do to stay in with the cool crowd.
Um, no, Dave. No inappropiateness in that respect. One can hardly speculate on the anger of Roz. It's is all encompassing and all consuming.
And Abby's a pretty cool chick.
damn straight. thanks, mike.
DID EVERYONE HAPPEN TO JUST MISS THE CREEPY IN A LOVEABLE WAY THING!?!?!
Okay, Mike, let's deal with you first. I call Tom creepy everyday, I've now also called Dave creepy and I don't even know him (he was lurking creepily on Cheryl's blog) and I'm pretty sure I've also recently called Jonathan creepy. Yes, yes I did. He was making a creepy face on Sunday. So in answer to your question, you're not creepy in the sense that the world seems to view the term, but you are to me-which is in a lovable way.
Okay, next there's I protest both the terms "lady" and "chick". Lady, because it makes me sound old, and chick because there's this dirty guy at work how always refers to women very offensively as "chicks" and so the word unfortunately contains degrading connotations for me.
Oh and Dave, I also don't think you're actually creepy, I've found your comments and your lurking to be quite amusing
Well, if we're going to redefine words, then I mean "lady" in a loveable, not-as-the-world-means-it way
umm...I personally kind of like 'lady'...if done right, by the right folks. Tom says 'lady' sometimes and it's coolness.
Dave's 'lady', is a bit different because we don't know him and couldn't hear his tone...
zoz, as the original over-user of creepy, I must say I don't really understand 'creepy in a lovable way'. seems like when you say creepy, you should probably mean it.
When I say "lady" think Jimi Hendrix. Except I'm white, and don't have a fro... but the stache is the same:
